Book a visit for your horse

The fastest way to book is a call or text. Tell me your horse’s name, where they’re stabled, and what you’re noticing. I’ll come back with dates.

Texts usually get the quickest reply. I’m in a barn most of the day.

I schedule around barn routines and show calendars, evenings and weekends included. In extreme heat or cold I may reschedule for the horses’ sake; you’ll always hear from me first.

Mobile equine massage across the Ottawa to Kingston corridor

Based in Smiths Falls, Ontario. I come to your barn. Regular routes include:

  • Smiths Falls
  • Perth
  • Carleton Place
  • Ottawa
  • Kemptville
  • Brockville
  • Gananoque
  • Kingston

Somewhere in between, or a bit beyond? Ask. Multi-horse barn visits are easy to arrange and share travel.

Before your first visit

Do I need to be there for the appointment?

It helps. I explain what I find as I work and show you the homework exercises. If you can’t make it, I’ll send a summary and walk your barn manager through anything important.

How should I prepare my horse?

A dry, reasonably clean horse in a quiet space is all I need. No lunging or riding right before. I want to feel the horse as they normally are.

Do you need my veterinarian’s okay?

For general maintenance, no. For rehab after an injury or diagnosis, I prefer to work with your vet’s guidance. As an RVT, that collaboration comes naturally to me.
